| Il giovane Luca viene messo al corrente dalla nonna che in circolazione ci sono streghe molto pericolose. Queste ultime odiano i bambini e sono riconoscibili perché girano senza capelli e senza ciglia. Tutto sembra andare per il maglio, quando, durante una vacanza, Luca scopre che proprio nell'hotel dove si trova con la nonna c'è un raduno denominato Società Reale per la prevenzione delle crudeltà contro i bambini, ma le cui appartenenti sono in realtà streghe. Luca scopre i loro piani: trasformare tutti i bambini in topi mediante la vendita di giocattoli contenenti un sortilegio.
Catturato, viene trasformato in un topo, ma sebbene piccolissimo riesce a sfuggire alla cattura, a ritornare bambino e a svelare a tutti i piani della Grande Strega. Young Luke is warned by his grandmother about witches who hate all children. They can be recognized because they have no toes or hair. The two of them go on holiday to a seaside resort hotel. There Luke inadvertently eavesdrops on a meeting of the Royal Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Children, only to find that the members are really all witches. He learns of their plans to open a series of shops selling sweets that contain a formula that will turn children into mice. But then Luke is discovered and the witches hold him down and forcefeed him samples of the formula. As a mouse he must try and avoid the head witch Miss Ernst’s attempts to kill him, get back to full size and warn people of the witches’ plan. |
